長野県にある、「日本でもっとも人口の少ない自治体」平谷村にある加藤農園。
この農園のトマトを手掛けました。すでに安定的に売れている販路があったので、その場所のお客さんの特性と、今後販売したい売り場のヒアリング結果からデザインの方向性を検討しました。できるだけ低価格で販売したいというオーナーの意向もあったので、ハイデザインな方向は避け、「可愛い高品質」「素敵な田舎」という雰囲気でトマトのおいしさを伝えられればと考えディレクションをすすめました。
ロゴ・グラフィックデザインは以前から加藤農園のデザインにかかわっていらした方にお願いしました。
「信州高原夏トマト」というネーミングと相まって高原の夏のさわやかなイメージが表現できたと思います。
生トマト、トマトジュースとも販売は好調で今後も新しい製品を出していく予定です。

Kato Farm is located in Hiraya village, “the municipality with the smallest population”, in Nagano prefecture.
We worked on branding of the tomatoes they produce. They already had a dedicated customer base so we based the design on what those customers liked and also on the research on potential new customers. The owner wished to keep the prices of the products low so we steered clear of high- end type of design. Instead, used concepts such as “cute and delicious” and “wonderful country side” to convey the tastefulness of the tomatoes.
We had the same designer who had been working with the farm design the logo.
Coupled with the name, “Shinshu Highland Summer Tomato”, we believe we managed to create a brand image full of breeziness of highland summer.
Both fresh tomatoes and tomato juice are selling well and we are planning to come up with new products in the future.

这次负责的设计是农园种植的西红柿。农园已有既定的销售通路，于是在听取并整理客户的特色，以及今后希望销售的场所之后，开始思考设计的方向性。农园主人希望以低价销售，所以我提议无须采用高级洗练的设计，而是透过「俏皮可爱却质量优良」、「令人神往的乡下大自然」等氛围，传达出西红柿的美味。
商标平面设计，委请长期为加藤农园负责设计的设计师。
取名为「信州高原夏季西红柿」，相信能够传达出高原地区独有的夏天清爽风情。
目前，新鲜西红柿和西红柿汁都销售顺利，今后预定将推出新产品。
