We designed abacus. Due to the lack of material and diminishing number of craftsmen, wooden abacuses for beginners are short of supply. Traditional craftsmen are having to shift to high-end models. That inspired us to design an abacus that can be easily and reliably manufactured for decades to come, an abacus that is also fun to play with.
We named the product COLETTE. This product lets you choose from four colors, unlike the traditional abacuses. Though its frame is made of recycled polycarbonate, beads move as smoothly as traditionally crafted abacuses. Also its size of 20 rods, approximately the same length as A4 size paper, can easily fit into your bag ,although it may not be long enough for schoolyard mock sword fight!
