We designed a driver and fairway woods club for Ryoma Golf.
As the client has the policy of bringing out new models only when there is a change in internal structure, our focus was on the continuation of the basic design of the previous model and on coming up with a design that will appeal for a long time. The client did not request for anything inessential such as flashiness to catch customers’ eyes at shops or “novelty for the sake of it” that comes with bringing out new models every year so we could focus on the essence of the shapes of golf clubs. Our aim was to visualize the function of the clubs by carving out how the force is concentrated when the clubs meet the balls and how the clubs direct them.
