Well, this has a very long name, but this is simply a Pantone version of Yoko Sofa, the poster girl of Sakai Design. Originally designed and sold under our brand in 1993, this sofa was suddenly renewed and I had never thought I would put this sofa in this ‘New Design’ corner. Requested by Pantone, we release this new Yoko Sofa together with original version.
Pantone version has 6 different color variations, and 2 of the colors will be changed at each season. The design of the sofa is not changed from original, except that this new versions is stitched small color tips on them.
This new Yoko Sofas will be shown during the Design Tide in the courtyard of Aoyama Glasseria. Original Yoko Sofas covered with the clothes designed by Woven Images will be shown together.
