Moon Lamp” was designed by Andreas Gr.ANdbner, a Sakai Design Associate intern hailing from Germany. He made the light while working at our studio – and it is now available for sale on flames!

Moon Lamp” is comprised of 3 types of 31 parts. The parts are put together like a puzzle, providing a collaborative opportunity for parents and children. The manual is actually a story introducing Sam, a extraterrestrial who lives on a planet much like Moon. “Moon Lamp” was designed with a child’s room in mind, with the hope that by making a moon lamp together the light would find a special place in the heart of both generations.

The stories of Sam, space adventurer, are included: “SAM AND THE MOON”.
