sampleという製品群を作りました。
sampleは「少しいいことをして作るプロダクト」の集まりです。
「少しいいこと」は何でもよくて、たとえば廃棄されてしまう素材を使ったり、寄付をしたり、
または廃業すると伝統が途絶えてしまうような工場に安定的に仕事を出すことだったりするかもしれません。
1年に1つか2つのプロジェクトを立ち上げて、製品を作っていきます。
デザインの仕事を続けるなかで、変わって欲しいと思うところに少し手間をかけて物づくりをしていきます
　
最初の製品は自動車用シートレザーでつくったiPad / iPhoneケース。車のモデルチェンジのタイムラグで大量に発生するデッドストックの裁断済みシート用レザーを使用しています。
もうひとつは除伐材と曲がった元玉でつくったiPad / iPhoneスタンド。山を守る仕事に少しでもお金が還流できるよう、これらの木材を通常の1.2倍程度の価格で買い取っている工場で製作しています。

We’ve created a group of products called “sample”.
sample focuses on designs which bring “a little good”.
“a little good” could be anything; recycling materials,
donations, or offering a lifeline to a dying traditional art
by providing a constant source of work. Once a year we will turn
one or two projects into products. As a designer I will
focus on making small changes in the world – through “a little good” design.
　
The first product is an iPad/iPhone case made from car seat leather.
The cases are made from leather recycled from long forgotten cars.
The second is an iPad/iPhone stand produced from rounded timber
which was leftover from forest thinning. We hope to help protect the
mountains by donating profits, thus we are manufacturing at a company
which buys the material at 1.2 times the normal price.

我创作了名为sample的各项产品。
　
sample集结许多「做一点好事的产品」。
「做一点好事」的定义广泛，例如利用废弃材料，捐助物品，
或是为即将消逝的传统产业，打造稳定的工厂订单。
每年将策划1～2项企画，制销产品。
希望在未来持续的设计工作过程中，对于希望改变之处，在产品制作上，投注更多一些的心思。
　
最初的产品是利用汽车皮椅套制成的iPad／iPhone保护套。这项产品是将车款转换之间剪裁产生的无用剩皮库存，加以运用。
另一项产品是以除伐材或弯曲原木制成的iPad／iPhone立架。期许能够为山林守护事业有所回馈，以约高于一般市价的1.2倍购入这些木材，并在这些工厂内生产制造。
