ドラえもんが漫画の途中で4次元ポケットから未来の道具を出す瞬間の自慢げなポーズ。その時の手の形を、そのままライトにしてみました。ライトの名前はテッテテー!ライト。その時バックで流れる効果音をイメージしています。
どうデザインしても子供っぽくなるのがキャラクターグッズの宿命。特にドラえもんは青のイメージが強烈で、デザイナーとしては扱いづらいものでした。今回は真っ白なボーンチャイナで本体を作り、消灯時には「ドラえもんかも？」と思える程度の佇まい。でもライトを点けると、腕は青、手は白色に光り、どこから見ても｢ドラえもん！｣。 小学館の雑誌「もっと！ドラえもん」とのタイアップ企画。テッテテーライトの名付け親はこの雑誌の編集長です。
Do you remember the proudly pose that Doraemon always shows at the middle of the story? The pose he brings out a future product form his famous ‘fourth dimension pocket’. I designed a light in the same shape of his that hand. The name of this light is ‘Tetetee light’. The name of the sound inspired by the sound effect of the scene.
It might be a character goods destiny to become kiddy, even though the designer would try to not to. Doraemon has a strong image of blue color, so that it was a task for me. This time the body is made of pure white bone china, so it is not very present as Doraemon when it is turned off. But when it is turn on, the arm is blue, the white hand gleams out – it’s perfectly Doraemon from any angle! This is a tie-up project with a magazine ‘More Draemon’ published by Shogakukan. 哆啦A梦在漫画中，从第四度空间口袋掏出未来道具时，总是摆出得意的姿势。我将哆啦A梦这种姿势的手部形状，制作成为电灯。电灯的名称就叫「咚咚咚！点灯！」这个灵感来自背景的音效。
无论如何费心设计，总是容易流于孩子气，这是卡通人物商品的宿命。尤其哆啦A梦的蓝色鲜明印象，深入人心，对设计师而言，可说是相当棘手的课题。这次以骨瓷制作纯白灯体，熄灯时的模样，会令人猜想「莫非这是哆啦A梦」；点灯时，手臂闪着蓝光，手部闪着白光，从任何角度观看，都绝对是不折不扣的「哆啦A梦」。 这是和小学馆的杂志「更多！哆啦A梦」的合作企画。「咚咚咚！点灯！」的命名人就是这本杂志的总编辑。 In production | Bone China | W104 D127 H247 | www.doraemonsbell.com/ |
